Created in 2013, the company MECM that stands for “Materials Engineering & Corrosion Management” is specialized in the corrosion of industrial plants. MECM’s approach contributes to the continuous improvement of the reliability of chemical engineering units. The company offers services to prevent failure through various levers: choice of material, diagnosis of degradation, monitoring of corrosion and formation. It covers the markets of the chemical, pharmacy and more generally the process industry as well as the suppliers of boiler equipment. MECM is also working on its corrosion monitoring activity. In this field, MECM uses acoustic emission technologies, resistive probes and linear polarization resistance probes.
