PEFPACK II: PEF, 100% bio-based PET replacement for PACKaging
The objective of the PEFPACK II project is the development of packaging solutions based on PEF (polyethylene furanoate), a 100% bio-sourced polymer. This will involve developing PEF-based packaging with thermal, mechanical and barrier properties that are superior to those of PET. The consortium of this project is made up of 2 academic partners, a technical center and 5 industrial partners (large corporate groups, ETI and SMEs).
