Mecanium

The company Mécanium is a test center specialized in the characterization of materials and the study of the mechanical behavior of structures. Mécanium is based on a state-of-the-art tool park, on both the Axel’One PMI and INSA Lyon sites, to provide technical services for the R&D of its customers.

Mécanium’s offer is structured around 3 areas of expertise:

• Numerical simulation tests, establishment of material maps and behavior laws for finite element calculation codes
• Structural and microstructural analyses of materials according to their mechanical characterization
• Support for the development and realization of customized test benches to meet the specific needs of clients
