A new method to produce antistatic yarn/to develop antistatic fibers using an innovative process.

This project, carried out in partnership with the IMP laboratory and R-STAT, labelled Innov’R, aims at turning naturally insulating polymer materials into conductors. The upstream research phase of the project and the characterization of the formulations is led by the academic laboratory which then works in partnership with R. STAT on the development of the process and its scale-up. The uses for these innovative antistatic fibers are vast: smart textiles, textile sensors, protective clothing, antistatic filters or conductors or even antistatic brushes for micro-computing.
