The Axel’One collaborative platform celebrates its 10th anniversary
Over 10 years, Axel’One has become a major player in collaborative innovation on both a regional and European level thanks to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes network, which houses a wealth of skill and provides a strong industrial foundation. In addition to hosting mixed laboratory/pilot organisations, the platform’s role is to create synergies between the various players by supporting R&D projects and consolidating the pooling of scientific tools for start-ups, VSE/SMEs, large companies and academic laboratories.
“These ten years testify to the recognition of all our members, partners and customers who have supported us since our creation and who continue to think about innovation in a collaborative and sustainable manner. This collective success is a driving force which allows us to take on new and even more ambitious challenges together. Turning our words into action, two years ago we decided to strongly address the social and economic challenges of the circular economy through our collaborative projects” states Louis Vovelle, President of Axel’One.
On the occasion of this anniversary and to highlight this new challenge, Axel’One is organising ten symbolic, sustainable and solidarity-based events between July 2021 and June 2022. This year’s events include open houses for its three sites, social initiatives, meetings between employees and partners, tree planting, and an introduction to electric bicycles for its 25 employees. Created in 2011 by ten public/private founding members with the support of the French State and local authorities, the association has drawn up its report and presents its current situation and prospects.
